Question: Does anyone know of a good company in North Carolina who takes groups spelunking?

What makes me mad is that they are advised not to climb in winter months and their risking the safety of others to save their butts ! Also taxpayers have to foot the bill for rescue operations !

My friend and I are wanting to complete the Three Peak Challenge (climbing Snowdon, Scafell Pike and Ben Nevis in 24 hours) and try to raise some money for charity. We were looking at going with a company that provide transport between mountains and a guide whilst walking as some of the hike is during the night. Does anyone have any recommendations on companies. The cheapest one we’ve found so far charge £399 each which is a massive chunk out of the money we’ve raised.

cave while climbing? I climbed Mt. Hood once, but it was in June.
I know that a category 1 is the biggest mountain, and that 5 is the smallest, but how do they decide what to grade a climb, and what are the main differences for each category?
I want to climb Mount Everest but have never climbed a mountain or a hill in my life. Can anyone give me advise? Route information, best trail, what to wear, what to bring,etc.. Better yet if someone is going to climb any time soon I would like to join you. I will pay most expenses. I do want it to be some what challenging, do you recommend to climb in the beg of winter where there is only light snow? Please help!!!!

i go to pigion mountain all the time but its geting boring there need new challenges
I cannot remember the brand name but I think I may be able to give a decent description of it mainly concerning the sole of the shoe.
Now they are used for mountain climbing and have a special rubber sole on them which morphs to any surface so it becomes really “sticky” like.
I watched a show on them once and how they are made but cannot remember the name of them. If anyone could help me figure out the name I would be most grateful.
i am a young girl, who next week will be climbing a 14000 feet mountain. Please let me know if this is safe for me to do. <3
